The present study,
interpretative to the health phenomena related to the nursing work, tried to
comprehend the included meanings on the net of relations between health and
environment made by nurses acting on the basic attention to the Third Regional
Coordination of Health, on the southern part of

and methods:
The strategy to reach this
intention was to interview, by a semi-directed way, thirty nurses, acting on
the basic attention to the Third Regional Coordination of Health, on the
southern part of Rio Grande do Sul/Brazil, trying to formalize the process of
analysis by means of the thematic method of the empirical meanings, anchoring
it on the ecosystem approach of the work components, which structures, on a
systematic way, the health production in the collective organization of the
work.
Results:
The study showed the meaning
of environment in the space limits of the human relations, whether they are
produced at work, at the family scope or at the general community, as if they
were produced by a process of significances, where the customers life
conditions appear, which in relation with nature is tied the intention of unify
nature and culture, in a transversal systematic that makes possible relations
of mutual exchange by the proper human condition in the society.
Conclusiones:
The final understanding is
that the development in the health area and in particular in the nursing,
treading an ecosystem approach of the human health, demands the construction of
management strategies integrated to the environment for the promotion of
health, the health is to be understand as condition and conditioning of
concrete realities of life, for which the nursing science can be an ally in the
construction of healthful and sustainable environments.
